The College of Engineering Office of Research Administration (ORA) is committed to providing the highest quality support for faculty research endeavors. Sponsored Programs Coordinators (SPC) provide budget development and comprehensive support for all administrative requirements related to proposal submission to both federal and nonfederal sponsors. SPCs also provide award management via financial analysis, reporting and spending projections for faculty PIs. In addition, ORA fosters a climate of research compliance through monthly audits of all transactions on both research and discretionary accounts as well as management of over 600 effort certification reports each year. COE Proposal Submission:
15 business days prior to a sponsor deadline faculty should email email@example.com the following information:
- Proposal deadline,
- title and number for solicitation (or copy of solicitation),
- proposed start and end dates of proposal,
- contact information for all investigators and sub-awardees,
- contact information for sub-awardee grants officers.
A Pre-Award Grants Analyst will be assigned to assist with the proposal submission within 24 hours of email receipt.
